THE SPORT OF ART

Basel is the place to be at this time of year for anyone who is interested in art, from movie stars and musicains, to billionaires and above. Oh...and normal folk too!
The Fair will go through until Sunday June 8th.

There is a great Conrad Shawcross scultpure outside the main hall, definitely worth checking out. This year Art Basel will rub shoulders with the biggest sporting event in Europe...the European Football (Soccer) Championships which start on Saturday June 7th.

Of course England with the best players in the world didnt qualify so the trophy is up for grabs. Mega Billionaire art collector, oil tycoon and owner of Chelsea Football Club Roman Abramovich has been seen around the fair so who knows....sport, art and oil what more do you need.
