DUNCAN GRANT

Duncan James Corrowr Grant was a Scottish painter and a member of the Bloomsbury Group. He was born in 1885 and died in 1978.

Grant is best known for his painting style which developed in the wake of the French post impressionist exhibitions mounted in London around 1910.

His work was for years a synthesis of the colour of Henri Matisse and the controlled design of the later Cubists.

A DEALER LOOKS BACK

Richard Polsky is a private art dealer and writer. He has written this great article for artnet about the new generation in art. I love this line "at the risk of sounding cynical, money has never been more important: connoisseurship and independent thinking never less so".
All you kiddies read and respect !!

QUANTUM OF SOLACE

Growing up in England as a small boy for as long as I can possibly remember there has been one ultimate cool guy in my life and his name is BOND...JAMES BOND

I cannot tell you how many times I've watched this scene.

Any other action hero just does not face a chance against Bond. People talk about Jason Bourne or the Mission Impossible guy, forget it. Bond would DESTROY them and still do it looking so much cooler.

Bring it on Quantum of Solace
